Robert Smithson spiral jetty sculpture made me realize how interactive artwork can be. This artist got its inspiration form nature and through this artwork I got a much better understanding of how various natural things can inspire someone to do wonderful artwork. This art piece was man made and I think to get the full appreciation of this artwork you would have to be there to actually feel and walk on the natural material.
I decided to do random art find and I search the term artwork future. I was genuinely surprised by some of the results. I expected to see images of futuristic flying cars and building designs that challenged the law of physics. To my surprise a lot of the images depicted a dark desolated and post apocalyptic world. I think these images really speaks to the lack of optimism that society as about the future of the world. We live in very uncertain times and it is difficult to find the positive in the world we live in today.
I search the term purple artwork and this was the result that I enjoyed the most. The image shows a pathway in the woods leading to a place of the unknown. The purple in the picture adds to my curiosity and imagination of where this path is located and what does it lead to.
Frank Miller, Batman
I watched the trailers for the documentary called Comic book Confidential. The trailers for the documentary depicted to me a well done history lesson of the contribution that some of these great artist as had on the comic and world in general. I was able to glimpse the various and different messages that these comic book artist showed through there artwork. The artwork above of Batman was done by Frank Miller, he was one of the artist mentioned in film.

I took this picture at this angle because the little holes made me think of something residing in them. In an odd way these holes just reminded me of neighborhood where animals or insects live.
I found this image to be quite comical and also it sends a very strong statement. Although I didn’t understand what the writing said exactly I was still able to get the message loud and clear. We live in a world where fast food as become a major part of our diet and with this major shift in world culture many health issues as come with it. The writing in red is a recipe for a home cook meal something that the individual who made this believes is something that the world is missing.
I search the artwork tired in Google and this artist by the name of Adam Simpson portrayed the exact emotion that a lot of us including myself feel at times. With all the responsibilities and worries that this world brings along the weight of everything can be overwhelming at times. Sometimes its necessary to rest your over anxious mind.
In my opinion as humans we can draw a lot of similarities to life and nature. This particular photograph made me think of growing pains that us as humans all go through. If you look at this plant closely you see the multiple branches have been recently trimmed down. This imagery of the trimmed branches makes it look like the plant is struggle to grow, and like this plant we as humans share the same faith.
“Diana Al-Hadid’s Suspended Reality”
I found the sculptures that this artist made to be very majestic. When I saw her artwork I realized that she has the ability of taking something that is recognizable and make it unrecognizable in a sense. Her sculptures seem to defy the laws of physics because of the portrayal of the images hanging in the air. Seeing these images makes me think outside the box when it comes to artwork and I think the artist wanted the viewers like myself to challenge reality through her sculptures.
